Is this the next Rat Pack? If rumour is anything to go by then yes they probably are!
Fact is that this trio do not claim to be Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin or Sammy Davies. They do not impersonate or perform as tribute artists. It is purely a public perception that has given these guys their title!
Singer entertainer Paul Hayden said “I first saw and heard Joe Corrigan and King George (George Anthony) performing individually, I was absolutely blown away by their voices and delivery. I thought to myself these guys are amazing entertainers and that I would love to work with them! Hence, The Legend of Swing show gave me this opportunity”.
“At our first rehearsal we all picked up on the fact that the vocal blend and natural harmonies where awesome. Considering their talent I found them to be so easy going, spontaneously funny and music loving individuals without an egotistical bone in their bodies. On one occasion during rehearsal we sang an acappella version of Michael Jacksons Man in the Mirror, It was brilliant! We have all got to know one another and on a personal note it’s been a fabulous experience “.
Audiences of the fab three in The Legend of Swing show began referring to the guys as a British Rat Pack. This name has now stuck with them and become synonymous at every performance.
The Guys superbly cover a history of swing music from inception.
Corporate work sees another string to their talented bow in that they are more than capable of covering other genres and party anthems.
